No signal. No schedule. Just rain on dry earth, a cup of tea I actually tasted, and a smooth river stone in my palm — warm on one side, cool on the other. For the first time in months, I wasn't thinking about what was next. I was just... there.
That feeling stayed with me.
I started collecting small objects that brought me back to it — a sandalwood comb, a jade gua sha stone, a simple crystal bracelet. Nothing extraordinary. But they were anchors. Small reminders to pause, to breathe, to come back to myself.
A friend saw them and asked, "Where did you get these?"
"Nowhere," I said. "I just kept finding things that felt right."
